TD1 2022 Extension

   Extension of the deadline for submitting the Individual Income Statement for the Tax Year 2022 The Tax Department informs that, based on the Decree of the Council of Ministers dated June 9, 2023 (KDP 183/2023), the submission of the Individual Income Statement for the year 2022 is extended until  
2 October 2023. 

   As mentioned in a previous announcement by the Department dated May 2, 2023, the 2022 Personal Income Statement has not yet been uploaded to the TAXISnet system for submission, in view of the pending passage by the House of Representatives of amending legislation governing the exemption of remuneration from first employment in the Republic [article 8(23A) L.118 (I)2002 as amended] with effect from the tax year 2022. 

   When the amending legislation is passed and published, the Tax Department will make all the necessary changes to the 2022 Personal Income Statement and will inform, through announcements and e-mails to TAXISnet Direct Tax users, of the commencement of the submission of the Statement. It is reminded that the obligation to submit a Personal Income Statement 2022 is for Employees, Retired and Self-Employed, whose gross total income for the year 2022 is greater than 19,500 euros.
